Movie to watch: Submarine

 

 

Tonight my bf took me to my favourite cinema in Soho, to watch a british movie called ” Submarine”, which I had been longing to see since the release. Director Richard Ayoade created a beautiful coming-of-age story surrounding Oliver, the average teenage boy not knowing where he belongs in life, falling in love with Jordana, the girl who is far cooler than he is. The story line might sound like a total cliche, but actually is one of the best Movies I have seen this year (not counting ” Black Swan”).
Submarine is insightful, witty and smart. Throughout watching one becomes attached to the vivid characters, who seem so quirky, that it’s difficult to not love them from the beginning. A great Night and definitely not the last time I watched this one!
